Civil War Camp Day
Held at SMS!
On Friday, March 28, SMS 8th grade students participated in Civil War Camp Day. Students had researched and learned about life during the Civil War and Camp Day gave them an opportunity to live it!
6th and 7th Grade students were invited to view the camp.

Electronic Devices Must
Remain at Home
Students are not permitted to have electronic devices on campus, other than a cell phone. The cell phone must remain off and in the backpack during the school day. Students must leave other devices at home. Some examples of these devices include: Game Boys, MP3 players, IPods, Nanos, CD players, headphones and cameras. Please make sure that your student(s) leave their electronic devices at home.

Dismissal: 4:15p.m.
Please remember: No fragrance sprays or lotions of any kind are allowed at school or on a bus. Additionally, no aerosol cans or spray bottles are allowed at school or on the bus. Such perfumes, lotions, and body sprays have triggered severe asthmatic reactions from students and adults, and when a bus driver is affected it can jeopardize the safety of everyone on a bus.
